The 80 Series was overbuilt from the factory, and the original Toyota parts are a big reason these trucks are still running 30 years later. Here's why used OEM is usually the better buy:
- It fits the first time. OEM parts were made for your truck. Aftermarket parts often need trimming, shimming, or modifying to line up.
